Solo play
Price Faceoff saves solo statistics, daily answers, sound preferences and your chosen player name in your browser’s local storage. Live room access tokens are also stored locally so you can rejoin your room. We do not upload solo statistics or daily scores to a public leaderboard. Browser storage can be cleared in your browser settings.
Live friend duels
A live room stores nicknames, hashed player tokens, room settings, answer timestamps and match scores. This data is necessary to synchronize the game. A hashed representation of the creating connection’s IP address is stored with the room to limit excessive room creation; the application does not store the raw IP address in the room database. The hosting provider may process IP addresses and request metadata to deliver and protect the service.
Rooms stop accepting requests 24 hours after creation. Expired room records are removed during cleanup. When scheduled cleanup is configured, it runs every 15 minutes, so physical deletion may occur up to 15 minutes after expiration. Nicknames and match results are visible to the other player in the same room. Avoid using personal information as a nickname.
Contact messages
The contact form is processed by FormSubmit. If you submit it, your name, email address and message are sent to the game operator through that provider. We use those details to handle your request. Please do not include passwords, payment details or sensitive personal information. See FormSubmit’s privacy policy for its processing practices.
Advertising, analytics and third-party links
The initial version does not include third-party advertising or analytics scripts. Linked price sources and the contact provider have their own policies. If advertising or analytics is added, this policy and any required consent interface must be updated before those services start collecting data.
Your choices and requests
You can play solo without sharing a nickname, disable sound, clear local storage and stop using a live room. For privacy requests or questions, use the contact page. If your request concerns a room, include its code so we can locate any record that has not yet expired.
