Real collectible prices that test your intuition

These are the results of specific US-dollar auction sales, not the value of every similar object. A sealed game’s grade, a rare book’s edition or a watch’s previous owner can transform its price. The condition and sale year appear on the cards. After a round, open the auction source to see why that particular lot attracted its price. Comparable items may sell for very different amounts.

What is Price Faceoff?

Price Faceoff is a free price comparison game. You see two objects and pick the more expensive one. After each choice, both prices and their sources are revealed. Play an endless streak, the daily challenge or a live duel with a friend.

Are the prices real?

Every amount in the game has a linked source. Cards distinguish US retail snapshots, historical launch prices and the results of specific auctions. The year and model are shown before you choose. Prices are in US dollars.

How does the daily challenge work?

Everyone gets the same 10 comparisons each UTC day. Your progress is saved on this browser, so you can come back to finish. One daily attempt is recorded per browser, and a new challenge starts at midnight UTC.

How do I play with a friend?

Create a room, share its link or six-character code, and wait for your friend to join. Your friend presses Ready, then you start the match. You both answer the same 10 rounds, with a shared 12-second timer. Live rooms become available when the service is online.

Do I need an account or an app?

No. Solo play works immediately in your browser on a phone, tablet or computer. A live friend duel only needs a nickname. There is no download, payment or account requirement.
